Tabitha joined EHL Commercial Law in July 2017, after completing her LLB Law with Politics degree at the University of Leicester and graduating with First Class Honours. She works assisting the Corporate team on all matters, taking on varying levels of responsibility depending on the complexity of the matter.
As part of the Corporate team, Tabitha has recently assisted with:
- Company incorporations;
- Amendments to company articles of association;
- Companies House updates;
- Shareholders’ agreements;
- Shareholding restructures;
- Asset acquisitions;
- Share acquisitions;
- Drafting debentures;
- Review of commercial contracts;
- Drafting Terms & Conditions;
- Drafting Non-Disclosure Agreements; and
- Providing advice on the impact of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.
One of Tabitha’s most notable achievements to date includes assisting senior team members on a share sale with a value in excess of £2 million. She provided an initial draft debenture and company board minutes as well as providing ongoing support throughout the transaction. Additionally, Tabitha was pleased to take day-to-day responsibility for completing a shareholding restructure matter recently.
As a driven and ambitious young professional, Tabitha enjoys building a wider network with other like-minded individuals. She is a keen writer and regularly creates blog content for inclusion on the firm’s website. These blogs document her obtained experience and provide commentary on changes to the legal framework affecting the work of the Corporate team.
In the future, Tabitha intends to study the Legal Practice Course and hopes to secure a training contract in order to qualify as a Solicitor. She looks forward to a prosperous and fulfilling career in the legal profession.
Outside of work, Tabitha enjoys spending time reading, visiting health spas to receive therapeutic treatments, and keeping fit at the gym through participating in regular exercise classes. She adores cats and has two feline friends of her own to care for.
