Chartered Legal Executive
Member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys
Since completion of his LLM in 2001, Stuart spent 2 years working in Washington DC and New York City undertaking a broad range of commercial and corporate litigation. Following his return, Stuart trained and qualified at one of the largest regional practices in the West Midlands. After 4 years with this practice, Stuart moved to another regional heavyweight where he specialised in Intellectual Property litigation.
Since that time, Stuart has broadened his practice to encompass the full wealth of Commercial and Chancery litigation and dispute resolution. His client base is predominately corporate entities where he is instructed to assist and advise upon contractual disputes, Injunctions, Intellectual Property infringement and breach of contract matters.
Stuart also acts on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners in respect of recovering monies owed by Debtors and former Directors, wrongful and/or fraudulent trading matters and assists in restricting companies.
Stuart also acts as a Mediator and so works with Parties in trying to bring about a resolution to their dispute without the need (or minimising the need) of the Court.
In addition to the above, Stuart is also undertaking his Higher Rights qualification.
