Jatinder joined ehl Commercial LLP in September 2018 with over 15 years’ commercial property experience. After completing her studies at University of Sheffield, she undertook her training contract at national firm Eversheds LLP before qualifying as a solicitor in 2003.
She subsequently gained experience at Legal 100 firm Harvey Ingram Solicitors (now Shakespears) before spending five years as Head of Legal for a national ecclesiastical charity where she developed specialist knowledge and expertise in ecclesiastical property law.
Her experience has enabled her to build substantial and in-depth experience in a broad range of commercial property transactions. Her interest and expertise is focussed on acquisitions and disposals, developing and letting property and land, working for developers, investors, owner occupiers, lenders and charities.
She is adept at negotiating, drafting and agreeing complex commercial contracts including, agreements for lease, conditional contracts, s. 106 agreements, franchise and overage agreements.
She has also advised a number of charities including schools on their charitable responsibilities and trust arrangements and has worked extensively with the Charity Commission.
Jatinder prides herself on combining her eye for detail and technical expertise with an ability to take a practical and commercial view for the benefit of her clients.
When not at work, Jatinder is a keen road cyclist and roller derby enthusiast!
