Jade joined EHL Commercial law as a paralegal in July 2015 after successfully completing her undergraduate degree in law at the University of Derby. Over the past few years, Jade’s role has developed making her an integral part of the team and in January 2017, Jade commenced upon her training contract with the firm while undertaking her Legal Practice Course part time.

Throughout her training contract, Jade has undertaken work in several departments including (but not limited to):

Corporate and Commercial
  • Share and asset acquisitions and disposals;
  • Company restructures;
  • Website agreements and terms and conditions;
  • Funding agreements; and
Advisory and Dispute Resolution
  • Restoration of companies;
  • Company restructures;
  • Boundary disputes;
  • Contested probate; and
  • Debt recovery.
Commercial Property
  • Preparation of leases;
  • Reporting on title; and
  • Purchase and sale of commercial properties.

During her corporate and commercial seat, Jade assisted on a multi-million pound corporate restructure. Throughout this transaction, Jade dealt with the preparation and negotiation of documents and even worked throughout the night with her colleague, working to deadlines and different time zones in order to complete the transaction.

Jade prides herself on her client service and understands that instructing legal representation can often be stressful. As such, she keeps the client updated throughout their matter and will go above and beyond to understand the requirements of the business.

Outside of EHL Commercial Law, Jade is interested in music and regularly attends events, drawing and participating in sports of all varieties.

Jade intends to qualify as a solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial department in September 2018, specialising in sports law.
